Chonburi School Van Accident Injures Driver and Passengers

Chonburi —

A school van crashed into a sign on Sukprayoon Road in Chonburi on Wednesday, February 14th, seriously injuring the driver. Fortunately, the three students on board only sustained minor injuries.

Officers from the Don Hua Lo Police Station and rescue personnel rushed to the scene, and upon arrival, they found a severely damaged bronze school van with a broken frontend. The unidentified driver suffered serious injuries and was unconscious. He received immediate first aid before being transported to a local hospital.

Inside the van, authorities located three female high school students wearing red uniforms. Thankfully, their injuries were limited to shock and minor abrasions. According to Mr. Ek, a parent waiting to pick up his daughter from the van, the vehicle typically transports 10 students. Fortunately, only three were on board at the time of the accident.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation. Police await the driver’s recovery to conduct questioning as part of the legal process.
