In a stunning comeback against the Philippines, UAE clinched the win with a one-point edge, the final scoreboard reading 55-54. New Zealand, making a comeback to the championship after an absence since 2017, faced a tough loss against Afghanistan. Despite a spirited second half, the Kiwis couldn’t overcome Afghanistan’s confident performance, and the match concluded with a final score of 77-37.
