Chiangmai for expat retired women

I (60F) will retire in a couple of years and am planning to visit Chiangmai in the spring to see if it is a good retirement destination for me. I see a lot of posts of men retiring to Thailand, but I haven’t seen any posts of women who chose to spend their retirement years in Thailand. I am hoping to meet a community of expat women retirees as well as meeting local women of course (I am working on my Thai). For those of you living in Chiangmai, is there a large community of expat women?
