The Bank of Thailand (BOT) announces the traditional holidays of financial institutions and specialized financial institutions for the year 2023 with a total of 15 holidays in total, compared to 19 days in 2022. During the year, special holidays are announced. 2 additional days, which are 29 July and 14 October 2022

  1. Monday 2 January Substitution for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day (Saturday December 31, 2022 and Sunday January 1, 2023)

  4. Thursday 13 April Songkran Day

  8. Monday 5 June Substitution for Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana’s Birthday Anniversary and Visakha Bucha Day (Saturday 3 June 2023)
  9. Friday, July 28, His Majesty the King’s Birthday Anniversary
  10. Tuesday 1 August Asanha Bucha Day
  11. Monday 14 August Substitution for Her Majesty Queen Sirikit’s Birthday Her Majesty the Queen and Mother’s Day (Saturday, August 12, 2023)
