Cambodian trans snatches gold necklace from Singaporean man in Bangkok

Lumphini Police arrested an illegal Cambodian transwoman after she stole a gold necklace worth about 30,000 baht from a Singaporean man last night by pretending to greet and hug the victim while he was walking near Asok BTS Station in Bangkok.

The official Facebook page of Lumphini Police Station reported today that they arrested a 36 year old illegal Cambodian transwoman named Kinkon. Upon frisking Kinkon, officers found that she had entered the country illegally and did not have any personal documents. However, they did not find any other illegal items.

The victim, a 52 year old Singaporean tourist named Koh Kuan Yong Andy, reported that he and his Thai friend, Yutthana Inthachai, were walking on the roadside under the Asok BTS Station, near Soi Sukhumvit 17, when Kinkon approached them….
