‘Brunei’ sends ‘Sea Games’ athletes to the smallest army at only 23 people, the lowest in 23 years

Brunei sends athletes to participate in the 31st SEA Games in Vietnam. Between May 12 and 23, a total of 23 players from four sports were involved, the lowest number of athletes competing at the SEA Games since the 20th edition in 1999.

4 sports: eSports, Pancak Silat, Wushu and Karate-Do. Do not submit popular sports such as competitive football.

Since Brunei hosted the 20th edition in 1999, it has not sent fewer than 60 athletes, and was the most with 370 at the 20th hosting, followed by 271 in the Philippines in 2005.

As for the nation that sent athletes to participate in this competition the most, it was “host” Vietnam 965 people, while Thailand sent the most, ranked 871 people.
