Breaking up with a Thai girl

So I’ve been dating this Thai woman for about 5 months. I’ve lived in Phuket for about a year and did the rookie mistake of dating a girl who was a freelancer when I first got here. I got burned and learned my lesson: No more girl who works/has worked remotely close to the sex industry.

After that first experience, I did a 180 and tried to find a girl who had never been with a farang before. I managed to do that, but as is usually the case in those situations, she spoke little to no English. It was fine at first, even charming at times, but with time, it started to get annoying. I’ve learned some basic Thai over the course of a year, but still not enough to hold a decent conversation.

Her workplace (she sells phones in the mall) is very close to my apartment so she pretty much stayed at my place from the very beginning. About a month ago, I had to move into a new place and she officially moved in with me. She has a heart of gold and treats me like a king (goes out of her way to keep me happy) but to be completely honest, I think I used her as a rebound. I’m not really attracted to her.

She is a working woman with a teenage daughter (in another province). She never asked me for money, although she mentioned in passing that her daughter would like to go to med school next year and that it was expensive (wink wink). I don’t give her money, I just pay for pretty much everything (housing, food, and going out). Breakups already suck when sharing the same culture. I’m thinking I’ll break the news as gently and honestly as I can before she goes to work on Sunday, and offer to pay for her moving expenses. Any advice would be welcome krub.

EDIT: so she came back from work yesterday and she could feel that I had been distant for a few days. She asked (messaged) me what was wrong, as she was worried that I might have gotten bored of her. I was a bit worried about spilling the beans right before going to bed but I did so anyway. 20 minutes later, she goes outside for 10 minutes. I can tell she’s been crying. She tells me she will go to sleep at her friend’s place and that she will come back in a day or two to grab her stuff. No drama, took it like a champ really.
