I was born in Malaysia, but my parents are not married because my father already has a legal wife. First of all, I used to have a birth certificate, and the name of my mother was my real mother. Finally, we changed my mother’s name to my father’s legal mother’s name (adoptive mother) through the law. We have been unable to apply for Malaysian citizenship for 12 years, until this year we were told that we can apply for Thai citizenship because the child is based on the mother’s nationality. But I have no way to apply to JPN to get back the name of the original birth certificate (real mother). Can I still apply for Thai citizenship? My mom and dad are always in touch. Please give me suggestions and answers, thank you
