A jukebox musical titled Fan Chan (My Girl) recently transported theatregoers on a nostalgic journey. Inspired by the 2003 hit movie of the same name, Scenario’s musical adaptation serves as a celebration of the film’s 20th anniversary while adding a fresh twist to the storytelling. The movie, set in the 1980s, primarily revolves around the experiences of childhood and a first love between Jeab and Noina. Their connection is severed due to Jeab’s mistake which leaves him with a lingering sense of guilt. Later, Jeab and Noina reconcile as friends.
