Barcelona have announced a new contract with 18-year-old midfielder Pedro until 2026 with a release clause of €1 billion.
Pedro was spurred on by Barcelona at the age of 17 in 2020, becoming the second youngest player to make 50 appearances last season. He also played 74 games at club and national level in the Euros and the Olympic Games in Japan.
