Bangkok Post – Seiko presents vintage showcase at Paragon

The first Grand Seiko 1960 will be flown in from Japan’s Seiko Museum to showcase during “My Grand Seiko My Pride”, which will kick off on Wednesday and run daily from 11am to 8pm until Sunday, at the Fashion Hall of Siam Paragon.

This is the first time watch lovers and collectors in Bangkok can see the rare watch which marked a major advance of Grand Seiko. It was the brand’s first model developed with the new Caliber 3180 that was accurate to within +12 to -3 seconds a day and offered a power reserve of 45 hours.

It was also the first Japanese watch to meet the standard of excellence of Bureaux Officiels de Contrôle de la Marche des Montres, the internationally top leading chronometer testing institute.

Also showcased will be special models from the private collections of Thailand’s top leading watch collectors, who will share their pride in the world’s top luxury…
