The term ‘average golfer’ is often used but sometimes l wonder, what is the average golfer. I read somewhere that statistics show that the average male golfer shoots around 92. Personally, l find this hard to believe. Playing from stringent tees and holing every putt — most golfers won’t break 100.
Regarding aiming, laying a club on the ground will tell you very little. Perhaps the best way is to hold a club along the front of your thighs.
