Investors are recommended to diversify their portfolio through mutual funds using four themes as risks of a global economic slowdown are rising, says Bualuang Securities (BLS).
Sermsak Vongsittichok, head of financial instruments product trading at BLS, said the major factors influencing investment sentiment in 2024 are inflation, economic conditions and interest rate trends.
Fund managers around the world view inflation as slowing, prompting expectations of an economic easing or soft landing, rather than a severe recession, he said.
