Hundreds of illustrations by 150 artists from eight countries will be showcased during the “Bangkok Illustration Fair (BKKIF) 2023” at Bangkok Art and Culture Centre, Pathumwan intersection, from Thursday to Sunday.
For the third edition of the annual event organised by Happening, Dexembell and What If, up to 767 illustration artists from 23 countries applied to participate. Out of the 150 artists selected, 132 are from Thailand and 18 others are from the Philippines, South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, China, Ukraine and Myanmar.
Their illustrations will be exhibited at the main exhibition hall on the 7th floor of the art centre and visitors can engage in discussions and exchange ideas and inspiration up close with the artists who will also put their products for sale there.
