Am I going to be denied entry to Thailand?

I’m travelling to Thailand from the UK in 4 days time for a medical procedure. I need to stay there for 5 weeks. I’m a doctor and I’ve been working extremely crazy hours recently, so I haven’t applied for a visa (dumb, I know). Is there anything I can do to secure this fast? Can I stay 30 days and get a visa whilst I’m there? Will I be denied entry? I’m ill with stress over this, would really appreciate any help or guidance!
