NOT A MARIJUANA THREAD, ACTUAL COOKING HERBS
Beyond the obvious stuff about each plant I can Google, what advice would you have for starting an herb garden on the balcony? I’m specifically hoping to hear what kinds of plants do well in this climate, reliable and well-stocked seed/plant/soil/random gardening goods providers, and any potential issues or surprises I might not think of like pests or obscure condo rules.
I have about 3 meters wide x 2 meters tall x 40cm deep where I can buy shelving and grow the lads. I could potentially get a nice little crop going out there. Outdoors, 6th floor balcony, Bangkok, plastic bird netting already installed.

Edited to say yes I know marijuana is also a culinary herb but I want basil and thyme and stuff.
