The Wildlife Photographer of the Year awards — an annual competition and exhibition developed and produced by the Natural History Museum — have announced the winners for this year’s edition!
What was launched as a small magazine competition back in 1965, has now grown into one of the world’s most prestigious photography awards. This competition highlights the unique and beautiful relationship between photography, science and art. Further, it aims to enhance the prestige of wildlife photography, in the hope that ultimately the awards will benefit the animals themselves, by creating greater public interest in them and in that all-important topic: conservation.
