Aussie city named least stressful in the world – Travel Weekly

New research has suggested an unlikely Aussie city could be the most tranquil on Earth.

While city breaks are not usually travellers’ first choice when they are looking to de-stress, a new index has been released to rank cities across the world by how tranquil they are, and you’ll never guess which city came out on top.

The top-ranked city was Adeliade, which seems like an odd choice, but apparently, there is method to the index’s madness.

The company that put together the list, Love2Laundry, said it based its decision on factors like friendliness, transport, spas, nature and parks, average cost per meal, average sunlight hours, air pollution and population density.

It’s worth noting that Love2Laundry is a London based dry cleaning service, so make of that what you will.
