Thai teenager Atthaya Thitikul has climbed to a career-high No.2 in the world rankings, thanks to a win and a top-four finish on the LPGA Tour in the past two weeks.
The 19-year-old from Ratchaburi was fourth at the Volunteers of America Classic in Texas on Sunday after claiming her second LPGA win at the NW Arkansas Championship a week earlier.
In the latest world rankings published on Monday, Atthaya moved up one spot to No.2, overtaking US star Nelly Korda who dropped to third.
South Korea’s Ko Jin-Young remains the top-ranked player.
