Artists lend a hand to help strays

Lovers of cats and arts are invited to bid for nine cat figures painted by volunteer artists as part of the “Si Sawat Pun Sook” project to raise funds for stray animals.

Held by the P Pun Social Enterprise, the project is aimed to raise awareness on the long-overlooked problem of stray cats and dogs which number more than 164,000 in Thailand today. The number is on the increase due to the closure of many cat cafes following the Covid-19 pandemic.
