With COVID-19 in Thailand on the rise, artist Saratta Cheungsatiansup, also known as ‘Uninspired by Current Events’, has turned a series of negative events into satire – a rather unique way to keep people informed of his country’s current situation.
From Saratta’s oddly creative artwork depicting locals as ‘zebras’ camping outside a Buddhist temple for free COVID-19 tests earlier this month, to the pro-democracy riots, the 29-year-old artist, who is also a freelance animator, mainly posts his work on Facebook and Instagram.
