Apple and Google release surveillance features for COVID-19 infection But the Thai public health system is not yet supported

In May, Google and Apple released an update to the COVID-19 Exposure Notifications feature to allow public health authorities around the world to notify users who have been close to those with History of infection

The feature is a collaboration between Apple and Google to develop COVID-19 tracking technology. It can work cross-platform between iOS and Android, where random IDs are sent via Beacons and Bluetooth every 15 minutes to nearby devices. The random data sent will be stored in the system for only 14 days.

If in the 14-day meeting someone is tested for COVID-19 infection. And data is saved in the app of the public health agency Users with a close profile are also prompted to notice this information to observe themselves and to receive advice from public health authorities.

For IOS users can go to activate it at Settings (Setting)> Exposure Notifications> Enable exposure notification (Turn On Exposure Notifications)> Select country or region (Select Country or Region)

However, the Thai public health system does not support this feature.
