Anyone where who lives in Phuket that just wants to hang out?

I feel stupid for asking this but as a 26 year old guy from the UK who moved here alone I’m having real trouble finding people to just hang out with.

I understand Phuket is a tourist hotspot and most people are only here for a week, its just hard to find english speaking people to socialise with that aren’t going to disappear next week.

I’ve tried to stay away from the touristy places and have met some genuinely good people but they’ve all been on holiday or traveling for work etc. Could really use some advice.
