Anyone know why quite a few restaurants in this town do this? Aside from being incredibly annoying, I think they’re doing a huge disservice to loyal customers who can’t get there because of the rain. Beyond that, I just don’t get the economics of this. Walk-ins and foot traffic must take a huge hit during weather like this, so why cut your revenues? And if the issue is being worried about the quality/condition of the food once it arrives, then why not just put in a rain waiver that says customers order during rainstorms at their own risk?
Anyone know why restaurants turn off Grab deliveries during rainstorms when people need deliveries the most?
