The Central Institute of Forensic Science (CIFS) will conduct an additional autopsy on the body of actress Nida “Tangmo” Patcharaveerapong on Thursday to confirm the cause of her death.
Thanakrit Jitta-areerat, secretary to the justice minister, said on Wednesday the institute’s 15-member board voted unanimously to conduct another postmortem.
The body of the actress was moved from the Institute of Forensic Medicine of Police General Hospital to Thammasat University Hospital Rangsit campus on Tuesday, awaiting a green light from the CIFS for another medical investigation to quell public doubts.
