1 What are the key developments in the past year in merger control in your jurisdiction?

The Office of Trade Competition Commission (OTCC) is a young and ambitious regulator. It is encouraging to see Thai competition law finally being enforced. In the past two or so years since the law became fully effective, merger control has been one of the two areas of competition law that the OTCC has focused on, the other area being unfair trade practices.
