KHON KAEN: Six people, one of them a sick patient, were injured when an ambulance and pickup collided at an intersection in Muang district of this northeastern province on Tuesday night, police said.
The accident occurred about 8.30pm at an intersection near the city gate on the Mitrapap highway.
Apisak Daipolmak, 47, of the Sawang Khon Kaen Uthit Foundation rescue unit, told police the ambulance was taking a sick woman from Si Than community, in the suburbs, to Khon Kaen Hospital.
