Ambassador of Thailand advances development cooperation in sub-region with USAID

On 17 May 2023, Ambassador Tanee Sangrat called on Mr. Michael Schiffer, Assistant Administrator, Asian Bureau, United States Agency for International Development (USAID), at USAID HQ in Washington, D.C., to discuss issues pertaining to development cooperation in the Mekong sub-region.

Ambassador Tanee emphasized Thailand’s readiness to further enhance the role of the U.S. in developing the sub-region through bilateral, trilateral and multilateral mechanisms, especially ACMECS and the Mekong-U.S. Partnership (MUSP).
