All Suvarnabhumi staff to get 4th Covid jab by end of February

All 25,000 Suvarnabhumi airport staff are expected to get their fourth vaccination against Covid-19 by the end of February, as Thailand prepares to resume the ‘Test & Go’ quarantine waiver for vaccinated arrivals from Feb 1, airport director Kittipong Kittikachorn said in a press release.

Mr Kittipong said airport staff are also being randomly tested for Covid-19 with antigen test kits (ATKs) on a weekly basis to build new arrivals’ confidence.

From Nov 1 — when the country first reopened to foreign arrivals — until Jan 29, Suvarnabhumi airport admitted a total of 381,871 people from other countries. Of them, 317,754 arrived on the Test & Go platform; 22,918 via the Sandbox programme; 30,418 under 7-day…
