Bangkok Post – Bangkok’s PM2.5 to reach orange level in 17 districts

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has warned of a spike in fine particulate matter smaller than 2.5 microns (PM2.5) that will push at least 17 Bangkok districts into the “orange zone” today.

The Pollution Control Department (PCD) said it expects the high dust levels to linger until Tuesday.

The BMA’s Facebook page yesterday posted a warning that PM2.5 would reach the orange, higher-than-moderate levels which are unhealthy for individuals with precarious health conditions in 17 districts.
