I stayed in Thailand 2014-2015 for around 6 months (Chiang Mai) and then again for around 7 months in 2018 (Bangkok).
I am in Canada now (born in Canada and a Canadian citizen) and I need to provide a criminal background check from Thailand as part of a job application in Canada.
I can go the Thailand embassy in Canada route but I am trying to find an agent in Thailand that can it it done easier and faster.
When I taught English in Asia I had to obtain a police check from Canada at times and I always used an agency (based in Canada that was accredited by the Canadian police) as it meant getting my police check in approximately 1-2 weeks (rather than potentially having to wait months).
