The theme of AFCM 2023 was “ASEAN Cement Collaboration towards Decarbonization,” focusing on the direction, trends, and challenges faced by the ASEAN cement industry. Discussions encompassed technical cooperation in greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction, innovations, alternative materials in cement production, alternative energy to reduce fossil fuel/coal consumption, and resource efficiency aligned with the circular economy principles.
AFCM wholeheartedly supports TCMA’s commitment to Net Zero 2050. TCMA is actively pursuing the implementation of Thailand’s 2050 Net Zero Cement & Concrete Roadmap, aligning the country’s cement industry with global efforts to achieve Net Zero emissions by 2050.
