I’ve got 45 days or so allocated for Thailand and then I will be going south to Malaysia. I’m 65 M traveling solo. I’ve been to Chiang Rai, phi phi and Koa Yao Yi before. I’m reasonably fit but not into long hot hikes. I Love snorkeling, beaches, boat trips and a few crazy nights here and there. Nature, temples and marketplaces are lovely. I love to cook so will look for a balance of Hostels and vacation rentals. The number of nights allocated to each place is arbitrary. Somewhere along the way I’d enjoy a week stay in villa with a private pool. You will see a gap in the middle of my plan. That’s for two reasons…are there any places between Kanchanaburi and krabi – ao nang that I should see on the way south? I don’t think I need another beach place. Or, is there some place up in Northern Thailand that i should add? I love slow travel and rarely stop for less than 3 days. Your thoughts will be much appreciated.
