Advice for First Time Thailand Visitors getting Married there

Hi Everyone! First post on Reddit ever.

My Fiancée and I are headed to Thailand on 30th of July. We’re starting off with our elopement at Six Senses in Koh Samui for 5 days, then headed to Four Seasons Chiang Mai for 5 days, and caping off in Bangkok for 2 days.

Asking all you awesome people for any advice you can give a first time Thailand visitor. I’ve heard to stay away from the tap water, and only use the ride Share apps. Anything else we should be aware of?
