To mark its 10 anniversary, Sala Sudasiri Sobha is hosting a recital by rising star flautist Chonchanok Sophonpanich, on Sunday at 4pm.
This is the first in a concert series that aims to promote young Thai talent and will feature a variety of music from classical to romantic sonata and contemporary pieces.
The repertoire includes Mozart’s Andante And Rondo, Franz Doppler’s Fantasy On Themes from Verdi’s Rigoletto for 2 flutes and piano, Gabriel Fauré’s Fantasy for flute and piano, and Sonata Undine, the virtuosic romantic sonata by Carl Reinecke.
