A look at the kite festival in Pattaya this week

Pattaya, Thailand-

It’s Songkran week in Pattaya but due to the current Covid-19 pandemic this year looks dramatically different than most.

The Thai government has ordered the closure of all entertainment venues in 41 provinces, including Chonburi, for at least two weeks due to a rising number of cases in the province and country. These originally stemmed from a nightlife cluster in the Bangkok area.
