9 ‘long COVID’ clinics open next week in Bangkok

City Hall will open nine clinics to treat patients suffering from symptoms of what’s become known as “long COVID.”

Starting Monday, nine hospitals will begin opening nine clinics to treat patients with persistent COVID-19 symptoms, according to Khachit Chatchavanich of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration. 

The clinics were meant to be a “one-stop service,” according to Khachit, that will be staffed by specialists as well as practitioners, nurses, physical therapists and psychiatrists.

Each of the nine hospitals will open once a week. They are:

  1. BMA General (Klang) Hospital, 1pm-4pm every Thursday
  2. Taksin Hospital, 1pm-4pm every Monday
  3. Charoenkrung Pracharak Hospital, 1pm-4pm every Wednesday
  4. Luang Phor Thaweesak Hospital, 1pm-4pm every Thursday
  5. Wetchakarunrasm Hospital, 1pm-4pm every Thursday
