I’m ordering from iHerb but the limit before it gets caught up in customs and having to pay import tax is pretty low, 1500 Thb.
If my cart comes out to just under 1500 Thb and no discount codes are applied, no problem. No import tax warnings.
But if I go over 1500 Thb, there’s a message that pops up telling me that “Import tax and duties will be imposed on orders with the total value exceeding 1,500 THB.” even if I apply a discount code that brings the actual total under the limit.
In practice, will shipments like these get stopped at customs because the price before discounts is over 1500 thb?
