I’m going on honeymoon next month to bangkok(3 days) and then Koh Samui (5days) and I’m trying to get some info on how to try and maximize our stay in Bangkok.
I know that traffic is messy so transportation is key.
I currently have 2 hotels in very distinct spots to choose from, one is near river (next to Asiatique) and the other in the “centre” (10 min walk to Sala Daeng BTS station or Chon NonSi BTS).
Is the one near the river okay for transportation? Get on a boat to city center and then visit all the stuff or is BTS better for that.
I’m still making an itenarary on what to see, but the temples are a must, also seeing some markets, souvenirs and shooping, I saw Icon SIAM is a good place to go (food and shopping). Chinatown and if possible to get some foods as well and get a couples massage (if not, in Koh Samui I’ll get that chance for sure).
Appart from this I know I’m missing stuff out, still on early stages on what to see and make a 3 day plan.
Can someone help me in terms of hotel locations and sights to see?
Also if you guys have suggestions for Koh Samui that would be appreciated (will be staying in Bohput – Fisherman’s Village).
