18,943 new Covid cases, 69 more deaths

The country registered 69 more Covid-19 fatalities, a new high of the new wave, and 18,943 new cases during the previous 24 hours, the Public Health Ministry announced on Tuesday morning.

This compared with the 65 coronavirus-related fatalities and 21,162 new cases reported on Monday morning.

There were 18,877 local cases and 66 imported ones.
