This Sunday, Soi Nana’s Chinese-inspired red neon-lit bar featuring its own badass Airbnb listings will celebrate its fourth birthday with four stories of art, music, dance and more.
At exactly 3pm, Ba Hao’s bar-restaurant-guest house operation will turn 4. To mark the occasion, the renovated heritage home of vintage Sino-cool will throw a party themed after a film by the man who captured it best: Wong Kar-wai’s 1990 drama Days of Being Wild.
At 2:59pm, the first floor bar floor will welcome lion dance performers and half an hour later, a solo musician will play Chinese plucked zither Guzheng. Watercolor artist Pearada Unahalekhaka will paint live at 4pm. An acapella performance follows at 5pm while DJ Billy will spin funk, soul and jazz starting at 9pm.
