Now I understand why I so often see Thai people clothed head to toe even in hot weather.
I’ve been in Thailand almost a month and a half and no sunburn at all and my arms are tanned. I can’t remember the last time my arms were sunburned.
Today while out riding my moto I felt a sudden extra intense burst of sun on my skin and when I got home my arms were sunburned from the end of my sleeves to my knuckles.
The tops of my knees are sunburned. Any part of my skin that was in direct sunlight is burned.
It looks crazy! Like when people layout on the beach with their sunglasses on or after a day of snowboarding in goggles. A day! This happend within minutes!
I know the sun is more intense at the equator, but this is something else entirely.
