Word for Thai people’s amazing ability to remain calm during arguments?

Thai people have a unique & remarkable ability to maintain cool and externally indifferent in emotionally stressful conflict/turmoil/argument situations between people, and will often just answer “ka” or “krap” without saying more during these times, whereas westerners would display more anger and have a difficult time shutting our mouths. I’ve especially noticed this in conflicts with people I am close to, such as good friends and partners. I am wondering, is there a specific word for this in Thai language? How would Thai people describe this cultural trait?
