Hello! We’ll be heading to Chiang Mai/Chiang Rai end July/start of August. We are planning on doing some motorbiking around Chiang Rai – up towards Mae Salong, PuchiFa viewpoints etc. How cool is it likely to get up at the higher elevations in the evenings/mornings? I want to make sure we bring stuff so the kids don’t get too cold, if that’s likely.
We did the Mae Hong Son loop a few years ago and it did get chilly at times, but that was in November, so I’m not sure how comparable that is.
