Wild weather not helping pothole problem on Long Island

Potholes have been causing an increasing number of flat tires across the area, particularly on Long Island, where storms and temperatures shifts have wreaked havoc on the roads.

Yes. Do you know anyone who has ruined their tires and wheels by driving into a pothole?

And it turns out she is not alone, not by a long shot. This winter storm-drenched month has taken its toll on the streets and the roads.

Oh, it has. And for those who fix the potholes, well, this is their busy season. Here’s Stacey Sager.

STACEY SAGER: Elmont Road and Linden Boulevard today where these guys had no shortage of work.

CONRAD HARRISON: Like a five-block radius, you’re looking at from like 80 to 200 something potholes that we’ll deal with that varies in length and depth.
