Solar panels are an obvious thing to install here as a home owner if there was some sort of feed-in deal accessible to the general public. From what I understand there used to be only few tenders for solar parks and those have been increased in volume recently but that’s about it. With rising temperatures and more EVs Thailand will need more electricity production in the future. You often hear opinions about the quality of the power network but those are just anecdotal observations. Does anyone have deeper knowledge of the subject what is holding that back? Just polical will?
Why hasn’t Thailand introduced solar feed-in tariffs yet?
