A new lounge in the heart of Bangkok has opened for whisky snobs, spirit connoisseurs, and collectors to mingle and taste from the world’s top bottles – but no one else.
Declaring itself an “invite-only” space, Distillers Library recently opened its fourth lounge after Singapore, China, and Vietnam at the Piman 49 complex. Within two lounges, wood-enameled shelves display some of the finest and rarest whiskies.
Among the precious liquids are private archives from the ultra-rare ghost Ladyburn distillery and one of the 148 bottles of The Balvenie 50 YO.
Connoisseurs and collectors can also expect other limited-edition collections and single cask bottlings such as the Glenfiddich 1973 Armagnac, 1978 Hogshead, and 1978 Oloroso casks.
Exclusive tasting events will be held regularly.
