The dude sitting next to me on my flight from Bangkok to Krabi kept vaping in the toilets and got busted. There was a huge scene where the stewardesses were yelling at him and he was pretending not to speak English (he sounded French). I learned later that even owning a vape in Thailand is a crime punishable by jail.
I’m just wondering what would have happened to him as I saw him with security after the flight. Seems like such a crazy thing to do. He was also trying to make the argument that no one told him you couldn’t smoke there, as if that somehow makes it okay.
