What should I buy for my new apartment?

Just that open-ended question + some specific questions. I got a new apartment in Thailand, I’m not Thai, so beyond the obvious, (cleaning stuff, kitchen stuff), is there anything that a Thai person would do in a new apartment that I wouldn’t think of? Are there any traps in my condo I should check for?

Also, specifically:
– Looking for portable induction cooktops and the associated pans.
– Do secondhand lay-z-boys exist? Or new? Could be any brand, but I want that big comfy chair with the footrest. Lay-z-boy or another solid brand all good. Can buy new, would prefer used.
– Are custom printed curtains and sheets available anywhere in the city? I’m aware of Alibaba, but trying to bring something like that through customs, yikes, so I’d much rather buy local.
– My balcony door lacks a screen. Mosquitoes exist. Would love to track down one of those magnetic clip-on screen curtains.
– Flip top metal trash cans. I know online is probably best, but I’m working with plastic bags from 7-11 here. LL forgot to leave me trash cans. If there’s a reliable “trash can” section at a supermarket, I’d love to visit.
