What actually is the National dish of Thailand?

I’m a Thai myself so this might look really weird but I’ve always learned from school it’s Tom yum Kung (ต้มยำกุ้ง).However, I’ve seen so many foreigners claim it’s pad Thai. I’ve searched in Google and if I search in Thai it said it’s Tom yum kung but if it’s in English it said pad Thai. Thus, I thought this is a foreigner thing but then I’ve seen this website from the official Thai government saying pad Thai is “one of the National dishes of Thailand”. Does that mean we have many National dishes this whole time? Or what’s actually going on here?
